Program Schedule
By 2030, the infrastructure improvements will be complete and the Grand Prairie Water Commission system will be operational.
Below is the construction schedule overlaid on the Program Map. The initial construction is anticipated to begin in Mid 2024 and Early 2025 outside of the Member communities near the Chicago Connection. Construction in the Member communities is not anticipated to begin until Early 2026.
