Grand Prairie Water Commission
Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) Requests

The communities of Channahon, Crest Hill, Joliet, Minooka, Romeoville, and Shorewood, Illinois have formed the Grand Prairie Water Commission (GPWC) to provide a sustainable and reliable water supply to meet the water needs and support continued growth and development in the region.

 

Requests for public records shall be submitted to the Commission's FOI Officer by the methods set forth below.

  1. The preferred method for FOIA requests is through this website. Click here to submit your request.

  2. Email to: info@gpwc-il.org. Email requests must include the term “FOIA Request” in the subject line of the email.

  3. FOIA requests may be made in person or by mail to:

Fees for Copies of Public Records

  • First 50 pages of standard size black & white copies provided at no charge

  • Additional standard size black & white copies beyond the first 50 pages - $0.15 per page

  • Color copies - $0.25 per page

  • Oversize pages (larger than 11”x17” up to 24”x36”) - $1.00 per sheet

  • Other fees as permitted by the Freedom of Information Act
